naiida Tandartsen was founded by Naouel Alberga. She is a dentist and the owner of the practice. She is registered in the BIG register under number 09932731402. Naouel studied dentistry at the university in Riga, Latvia. Afterwards, she worked as a general dentist in Utrecht and Purmerend, and at the emergency clinic in Haarlem. There, she saw every day how differently people sit in the chair. One person comes in for a check-up. Another hasn't dared to come in for years.
Dentistry runs in her family. What drives her is putting people at ease. Relieving pain. Showing that a visit to the dentist can be calm, especially if you are dreading it. That is why she started naiida Tandartsen. What can you expect from her? She takes her time and explains what she sees, even if it is nothing special. She does not make decisions over your head. The choice remains yours.
We follow the principles of Minimum Intervention Oral Care. Understanding caries before we treat. Prevention as the first step. Intervention only when truly necessary and always as conservatively as possible. We do not promise perfection. However, we do offer clear explanations and realistic expectations.
We schedule longer appointments than average. Are you afraid of the dentist? There is room for that. Fear does not disappear after one visit. But it can lessen. Every calm experience builds a bit of confidence.
Registration, your appointments, and your file are all handled digitally. No reception desk, no paperwork at the door. This way, we keep the focus where it belongs: on the conversation in the treatment room.
naiida Tandartsen is part of the Amstelkwartier. Amsterdam is a city of many people, from here and from afar. We speak and write Dutch and English, so you can come to us in your own language. Eventually, we would also like to welcome you in other languages: French, Spanish, Arabic, and perhaps someday Mandarin. That is a great wish. We are still young, so please be patient with us while we grow in this area.

At the start, Naouel works as a dentist in a single treatment room. Small and personal, with plenty of time per appointment. The team grows along with the practice. In the future, it will expand, starting with a dental assistant. For now, you know one face. That will remain the case for as long as possible.

Yes. We take dental anxiety seriously and start with an intake interview. During the treatment, you can always raise your hand if you want us to stop. We do not offer sedation or general anesthesia. If the anxiety is very severe, we will refer you to a specialized practice.
Yes. We speak and write Dutch and English. Amsterdam is an international city. naiida Tandartsen is also there for expats. You are very welcome, in the language that is most comfortable for you.
