At naiida Tandartsen, you pay the rates set by the Dutch Healthcare Authority (NZa) for regular dental care. These are statutory maximum rates. You won't pay more anywhere else. Free rates apply to aesthetic treatments. For these, you will always receive a quotation first, so you know exactly what to expect beforehand. This keeps things clear, including regarding money.
For a check-up, a filling, a root canal treatment, or other routine care, the rates of the Dutch Healthcare Authority (NZa) apply. The NZa sets these rates annually. They are maximum rates; they may not be higher. Therefore, you will not pay more with us than at a practice around the corner.
Your invoice lists a code for each treatment with the corresponding rate. This way, you see exactly what you are paying for. You will always be informed of the exact amount for your own treatment in advance.
There are no fixed rates for aesthetic treatments. The cost of a treatment depends on your situation and what you want. That is why you always receive a quote first. You know what you will pay before we do anything.

These are indicative amounts. Your personal quote may turn out higher or lower. We will go through it with you before you decide. We allow a minimum of one week for reflection between the consultation and the treatment.
Dental care is exempt from VAT. For treatments that are purely aesthetic, without a medical reason, the VAT rate of 21% applies. Whether this applies to your treatment depends on the underlying reason. We always include this in your quote in advance, so there are no surprises afterwards.
Those who visit regularly keep their teeth healthy with fewer procedures. That is why we offer a prevention package: two check-ups per year with two appointments for your oral hygiene, at a fixed annual price with a discount.
The prevention package costs €245 per year. Separate appointments for the same care add up to around €285. So you save about €40.
Whether your care is reimbursed depends on your insurance.
We bill using NZa codes, so your invoice is clear for your insurer. Unsure about your coverage? Check with your insurer in advance.
You remain personally responsible for what is not reimbursed.
You will receive your invoice digitally via Payt after the treatment. The payment term is 30 days. You can pay with iDEAL, by debit card at the practice, or via bank transfer.
